The Importance of Being… Torino

The Consortium organised an international, multidisciplinary conference exploring the technical, regulatory and marketing aspects involved in promoting, protecting and enhancing PGI, PDO and registered trademarks incorporating geographical names.The event was organised in collaboration with CONVIVI, OICCE, UGIVI, the Academy of Agriculture of Turin and the Turin Chamber of Commerce, bringing together international experts for a day of discussion and knowledge sharing.

WILA – Wine Label Museum – Barolo

 Vermouth di Torino took centre stage at Castello Falletti di Barolo for the reopening of WiLa – Wine Labels Collection, home to an extraordinary archive of more than 285,000 wine labels from 105 countries. The Cesare and Maria Baroni Urbani Collection is one of the world’s most important collections of its kind and is housed alongside WiMu – the Wine Museum in Barolo (CN). To celebrate the opening of the new exhibition, The Garment of Artemisia, focused on historical Vermouth labels, the Consortium accompanied the visitor experience with a specially curated mixology aperitivo, creating a dialogue between wine culture, botanicals and contemporary cocktail culture.

The Consortium took part in the 48th edition of Vinum Alba, the International Piedmont Wine Fair, held over the weekends of 25–26 April and 1–3 May 2026. AIS sommeliers guided visitors through tastings of Consortium members’ outstanding Vermouths. Guests could purchase a three-tasting voucher to explore the three classic styles: Dry/Extra Dry, White and Red.
